Re: Head shots
Hahaha...I have to find the good camera. She is a very recent addition, purchased only after I learned that my house technically falls outside of city limits and therefore is regulated by the neighboring township, so she is allowed. I still don't advertise her presence much, as I prefer to be quiet anymore about what I keep. My neighbors know that I have her and they are all fine with it too.
T. wagleri are extremely beautiful snakes- the most common color phase is a bright lime green with brick red banding edged in white, and a red line behind the eyes, edged in blue and white. The multi-colored black phase like mine is very seldom seen in captivity. All the babies are born green with red banding, and males of every locality stay that way. Females of the Malaysian locality undergo an ontogenic color change to the black/yellow/white, and Sumatran females attain a very high blue coloration.
They are sluggish, humidity-loving, fully arboreal creatures, and tend to be very laid-back for a viperid. Mine is easily hooked out and placed in a holding container. She eats well, but has thus far shown no desire to attack. I use two 24" snake hooks, Hexarmor Hercules gloves, and holding tubs I've modified to have the lids removed with hooks when handling. I'm extremely paranoid...but she's a cakewalk compared to the pissy mangroves I used to have.
Here are a few more of her:

Asian water monitor.
Hes a recent rescue, I set up his enclosure and if the food didn't keep disappearing I would not believe he was in the enclosure.
I haven't seen him in over a week, he dug a large tunnel in the substrate (almost 2 feet) and he is well out of view.
He is nice enough to poop right under his basking lamp so it cooks and smells up the room nicely.

Re: Head shots
Was a royal pain to get this shot, he struck at me about a dozen times. (They are both fantastic once out of the cage), but the male is still really defensive over any inanimate object he "possesses"
