I also like all the theories to lyrics of songs and things. The beatles Abbey road has lots of conspiracies, and the lyrics of "stairway to heaven" have been way too scrutinized. Was just on a link last night about them - and they were way off! They credit it to Lord of the Rings....

Just read one about Popeye the cartoon and drug references. Spinach was an old slang for marijuana, and there is a lot of evidence pointing Popeyes poweres to cannabis, and other drug references.

I know we are also teatering on the rules of the forum with the government conspiracies, but many biblical things and references are pretty interesting and weird. For example, the popeye thing I read mentioned the "burning bush", and it being an old reference for marijuana from the bible. If Jesus had turned the field to MJ instead of turning water to wine, we'd all be toking every Sunday in church! Damn water!

Gary sent me this link cause he knows I am "Mr. Conspiracy theory guy" I guess I am.... all these things are very intriguing.

For the record. the man on the moon thing... It was a race so the soviets would spend their coin on the space race, rather than nuclear weapons and arms. It turned into a U.S vs the Soviets, so the government at the time did fake the first one, to boost moral support for the U.S.

Since then, man has walked on the moon, for real - which truly suprises the people who were in charge of the hoax in the first place.

I'm with people on the whole moon conspiracy thing, but I did see a made-for-TV dealy a few months ago that actually set up a 'moon set' (like the hoax people claim) and disproved all the points of arguement that the conspiracy theorists had (like the flag in the wind and the shadows being incorrect and all that). It was pretty convincing at the time. But, how long have they been working on disproving the conspiracy theorists? Or maybe their 'set' footage was the REAL moon footage....or maybe they went to the moon to disprove the conspiracy

Well since you asked... (as countless people groan "not again")

The Smurfs are a comunist child indoctrination ploy. They were created in East Germany and existed for years behind the iron curtain before coming to the west and reaching saturday morning popularity. They are based on the writings of Karl Marx and mirror beautifully George orwell's 1984.

Here we go(we'll start weak and get better as we progress)...

1. Papa Smurf wears Red the colour of comunism.

2. Papa Smurf's likeness is based on the image of Karl Marx )as was big brother's)

3. the smurfs live in a communal society with no posessions

4. to further reduce individuality they all wear the same uniform which mimics papa smurf's but clearly establishes him as the authority.

5. George Orwell described to us the Marxist concepts of "double speak" and "double think". Here it is outlined that by reducing language and eliminating words from the vocabulary one can reduce free thought. The ultimate expression of this would of course be one word to describe all adjectives, adverbs, thoughts, and emotions. The happy little smurfs have sucessfully reduced this down to the term "Smurf" or "Smurfy".

6. The basis of a great many stories was Brainy Smurf striking off on his own without the permission of Papa Smurf, and often against his wishes, and without the aid of his fellow smurfs. Thus acting completely of his own free will. Invariably he would encounter great troubles and the rest of the smurfs acting as a group would have to come save his a$$. Thus teaching the moral that indivuality will get you in trouble.

7. And of course where would our little blue heros be without a villan. In this case the alchemist Gargamel (AKA capitalism). Who's sole goal in life is to exploit the smurfs and turn them into gold for his personal financial gain.
