Re: Oops, I bought a Skink...
They're omnivorous and are fed a diet similar to Bearded Dragons (leafy greens, vegetables, fruit and insects/small feeder). I hear many breeders feed them various types of canned dog/cat food and meat for protein rather than insects.
Today I offered her endive and escarole greens topped with caterpillars and calcium powder. She seemed uninterested but I'm not surprised as it was her first day being in her new home.
My plan is to make her diet as diverse and natural/raw as possible.
Edit: Oops, I keep referring to it as a female. haha I'm really hoping it's a girl

I love the wood in her/his enclosure! You have a real looker there.
And yes, cat and dog food is awful for skinks.

Re: Oops, I bought a Skink...
Thanks.
The only dog food/cat food I would feed occasionally would be something with no artificial preservatives, colour, synthetic vitamins or questionable meats (or other questionable ingredients).
