The snake can't use UV light and UV light hasn't got any known effects on it neither does just plain normal light. The skin isn't tender, it's just soft for the first couple of house because of the oil the snake has to secrete from it's skin to detatch the old skin from the new one underneath. Just make sure it knows where it's water is and keep the aquarium unusually humid for a day with a spray bottle if you can. The shed looks good. Kingsnakes should always shed in one long piece. Sometimes a bit breaks but it's always one piece. Or two. Looks good.
