I've not done anything to stimulate breeding them as of yet. as i said originally, she was fairly unwell and I wanted to get her better and put on some weight.
Also, Monitors are CITES listed species, so It would be EXTREMELY expensive to get one to you legally, if by chance i was even able to get eggs from them.

oh.. I'd also like to direct you to www.themonitorspot.com .. it has some good information on breeding savs. Also, i'd definatly recommend buying the savannah book by Ravi T. and Daniel B. well worth the $9.99

Justin, be thankful she didnt get ahold of a finger, or a toe. Ive had ones roughly that size grab my fingers and damn near break them. They can really crush with those jaws.

you guys are all sick and demented..
where do i sign up?
in all honesty, if this lizard spots something moving, she's on it like a .. monitor to food. i never thought a savannah would literally leap off their basking spot to try to bite me. this lizard is Nuts.. but i love it. i just gotta change my thinking about savs :P
