Thanks guys N gals , they really are cool snakes, but since nobody can seem to produce them regualrly in captivity the price has remained fairly high and availability is fairly low. Hopefully they will be figured out and become fairly common , they are pretty solid snakes and are very forgiving of husbandy errors. All I need now is a nice male and then the search begins for what I really want .. some Boelens Pythons .. those things are insane !

Those are also on my wish list. Don Hamper had a juvie for sale at the Daytona show for $6,500. He was just GORGEOUS!! *sigh*

Hey Michelle,

They are truly gorgoeus animals and a king amongst pythons , hopefully I can convince myself to shell out that much cash in the near future. Might have to go to work without lunch money for a few months , or years with thos price tags ...

I got the same feeling I had the 1st time I layed eyes on a dumeil boa.I have to have a pair of those.I'll save room in my room!!!!!!!Good luck with it.
