I'd also like to thank Walter for putting on a great show. I had a good trip out to Alberta and enjoyed the show very much. I bought 1.1 blizzard leopard geckos from Diana Daoust (The Gecko Corral) if you want some geckos, I recommend her, and 3 emperor scorpions from Daniel, he had some cool arachnids. I recognized a few faces from pics on here, I know I saw TheRedDragon and Invictus for sure, and the owners of SCALES Zoo. And of course Walter, but I'm not sure if I want to recognize him anymore, ahahahaha Walter's awesome. Awesome show and I'm glad I went. Time to go watch my new additions.

Went to the red deer show and had pry my hands away from sooo many animals!!!!! My BF went home with three little baby emperor's who are just the cuttest little things ever! I am saving all my money efforts for the Calgary show. I saw RedDragon and Invictus....sorry I never had a chance to say hi and introduce myself. Hopefully I will see you all at the Clagary show!
Oh!!!!! I did walk away with something......lots of baby rabbits for my BBC Nyoka, she is going to be so happy

Walter did a great job on the Red Deer show as usual - it is great that there is so much space and there were some excellent animals available this year - as well as some on display that were just unbelievable. I am not a lizard person but Big Dan's green leopard geckos were unreal, and the rainwater albinos in all their different patterns were super. Nothing topped the coral albino boas though - they just glow!

I was so tempted by the honduran babies that Jeff had but have spent all my herp $$ for this month already - so came home with feeder rats and mice to cope with the growing populations at our house where 19 corns are due to hatch next week.

Unfortunate that there are few pictures of the show - there were some spectacular animals there,

PICS!!!!

As promised, here are a couple of piccys! (More to come):

Here's Hera having her first meal in our care. She decided it would be fun to take a rabbit butt-first:

Here's Malice, the Vietnamese Blue Beauty. The pic sucks because, well.. this is the closest we've been able to get to him. He's a bit of a psycho right now:

Here's Mallory, the electric Kenyan. Somehow this pic does her no justice at all. She almost glows, she's so bright:

More later, when I'm not at work.

As always, thanks for looking.

Thats great about the new snakes. I know what you are saying about going to the show and coming home with more that you expected. The last two shows I was supposed to come home with some supplies and what not. I came home from the first one with a burm and the second with a retic and a pacman frog. Congrats on the new additions.

Yeah Ken, that pic doesn't do the Kenya any justice! Still looks good in the pic though.
