If anyone else runs across this problem, I highly recommend Granules – V . This is a prescription medicine our vet gave us to treat a snake’s nose that had rubbed it raw on screen wire. Joe noticed the bottle read that this medicine treated necrotic tissue. We have treated the wounds on the pigmy and seen great improvement. I am still afraid that we were too late on this little guy, but I am impressed with the effects this medicine has had on his bite wound. I would recommend anyone dealing in large quantities of venomous snake have this medicine on hand.
