No, i did a co-op program there for a couple months though. Definatly the best experience ive ever had! It was so fun playing (well, feeding and scooping sh*t ) with all those animals. Really neat place, i love it there!!!

Hey cool!! As I've said a few times before, good luck buddy.

HQreptiles: You sound slightly bitter about giving up those monkey-tails... lol

LOL > pardon that, I enjoy laughing at others' misfortunes... *joking*

HQreptiles: Well... We could view the bright side of the matter: it was your husbandry and your condition that made the breeding a success and probably the majority of the gestation as well.
You could always get back into the game and show 'em how it's really done. Whatever the circumstances, good luck with everything.
LATER.

Solomon Isle Skinks/Prehensile tail skinks/Monkey tailed skinks are indeed on the CITES list. I have some friends in the Seattle area who took in two as rescues, and 6 months later their female gave live birth! They hadn't intended to breed, it was a fluke as they had just kept their animals well.

Their baby still lives with it's parents to this day. Pics of them on display at a reptile show at the bottom of this page:
