Thanks! I almost got a pic where you could see her tongue hanging out of her mouth but I spooked her when I moved the camera so she jumped and I couldn't get the shot :/

Ammit thinks she's a tree python lol found her out basking in her tree, first time I've really seen her bask.

Hey guys im using a uth on all my tanks and don't ever see my snakes basking. Is it ok if I turn off the uth sometimes and use my 75w infrared bulb as a heat source. It never gets the hot side above 90 which is where I have the uth's set at anyway. I noticed when I was using the heat lamp before it seemed like the snakes were more active. Any thoughts?

If you want to try, go ahead. All that matters is that they get heat. They don't really need to go out and bask if they can soak up heat from a Uth(IMO). But I use both and I keep my Uth on 24 hrs.
