Brazilian Rainbow poop

Hi, my brb baby is about 5 months old now and she had a weird poop. I've talked to her breeder, but I was wondering if anyone has seen anything like this?https://plus.google.com/u/0/11095583...32887058284087

Re: Brazilian Rainbow poop

My corn had a poop like that after eating a couple frozen/thawed mice from a bad batch. (My supplier let them thaw then refroze them...I was not too happy).

Has this only happened once?

If you feed f/t rodents, did you notice if the mouse you fed her smelled "off" or looked strange?

Also, what are the temps in her enclosure?

Only once, the mouse smelled fine. It was a slightly larger one than usual, but she's growing.

Re: Brazilian Rainbow poop

If she is pooping "normal" now, then it may have been the mouse. Even if it didn't smell, it could have been a little "off".

You may never know, though. Snakes get poops like this from time to time. As long as it's not happening often then I wouldn't worry.

Others are welcome to chime in if they have any other advice.

Re: Brazilian Rainbow poop

My BRBs both pass blobs like these every once in a while. Seems to be mostly fur and stuff. Doesn't look weird to me

Re: Brazilian Rainbow poop

The part off to the right looks like it some undigested bits, such as tail. It happens from time to time. So long as it is not the rule and the snake is otherwise acting OK, I would not worry too much.
