These two statements contradict one another.

How is it still buried if you do a deep clean? Repti-carpet is a bacterial farm and indicated by you it's been left in there for a long time (uncleaned) so I bet it's gross.

But you're still bothering her by taking her out to feed her....I'm sure she'll do fine if you take her out and handle her when you deep clean. I do that. If I plan on taking my boa out for an extended amount of time and he needs a deep clean, I take him out. It's just the same as handling except I'm also cleaning.

+1. Instead of taking him out once a week or so during feeding, it would be less stressful to just take him out when you do decide to deep clean.

One reason why it's hard to keep repti-carpet sanitary is because it's re-useable substrate. It'd be more efficient to just spot clean(throw away dirty) loose substrate or replace paper substrate when soiled.
