Is It Possible?
... to spoil a snake?
My little RBR moved from her Tupperware box to her new vivarium Monday night.
Tuesday afternoon I handled her for awhile and offered to put her in her Tupperware again - she didn't want that - she wanted the vivarium and went into the hide (her own private room). A bit later I put a pink rat outside the hide (room service!) and a few minutes later it was GONE.
Yesterday, when I came home from work, I checked her cage and she was in the other hide (a suite of private rooms?) and the floor was wet - she had been SWIMMING during the day in her private pool! Hey, I thought Rainbow Boas were supposed to be nocturnal! From the amount of water on the floor, she had a GOOD swim!
If she starts ordering pizza, I am going to disconnect her telephone!
I think my little girl has settled in and is happy

Re: Is It Possible?
It just may be so, that is a really nice set-up you've got there for her.

Re: Is It Possible?
That is a beautiful enclosure, but more importantly, does it meet that specific animals husbandry requirments?
If so, bravo.
As for you "spoiling" you reptile, pick up a dictionary and look up "anthropomorphism".

Re: Is It Possible?
Here's a picture of the larger pool before it was installed
Animal husbandry requirements? I didn't know there was a building code
Warm side temperature is 84F, cool side 76F, humidity 84%, constant supply of fresh water, warm and cool side hides, escape proof, and safe. Did I miss anything?

Oh pbbbbth! I dont think she meant it literally! And besides, we women like to do that. Hell I cute talk to my fish!
I think you need a woman to soften you up if you havent got one yet!
How are all the breeding projects going?

Re: Is It Possible?
Looks like she can have sleepovers, looks great, one of the better ones I have seen. How does this work, we are humans, we are smarter, and at the top of the food chain. But we work to make a living and worry about everything and pay taxes. A snake, just lay in the hide, get spoiled, always have someone cleaning up after him, bring him food and carry him where ever. Do you ever stop and think about it? Spoil, I think most people that love their pets spoil them. I spoil mine, in fact my wife calls mine, pampered snakes.

Re: Is It Possible?
Alright Di, so it sounds like your ex, but could you wrap your ex round your neck, or just throw him a rat once a week. I forgot, being the ex, he probably was the rat.
