I have only had girls 2+ years prior for breeding but this year I had a girl I got off Hilde as a juvie and she turned a year in Feb. She didn't meet any males. The others went off to see their boyfriend at a friends house. Unfortunately nothing happened and I have them back now. But hey, who knows, maybe they will be last layers like the rest of my crew this year. lol. Leos are just starting to hatch now and I have a ton of bearded eggs still with a few weeks for the first laid clutch to be ready for hatching. But I must have done something right this year, I got eggs from every single girl, only one had infertile eggs, and 2 have already double clutched in 2 months time.
I can't wait till my two younger girls are ready though. My older girl Sandy is the mother of the holdback from last year and Hilde has the male. Dang, I was stupid to part with him. lol, but I love Avery, she was the trade off.

I didn't actually plan on breeding them eithor, I was told they weren't related but I wasn't sure so I housed them separately but they were together before I got them and I got 4 eggs from Sandy after she was here, 2 bad and 2 good. I should have kept both babies but I traded one for a hognose.
Here is Sandy in the background and Ivy upfront, she hatched out unbelievably red and that was my reason for keeping her. Her sibling was just as sweet as her, would love to see how the sibling turned out! But I don't remember who took her and never heard from them since.
btw Hilde, do you still have that little male with no tail?
Here is the female with her mom, Sandy. I named her Ivy.
Can't wait to see what they produce for me in the future. Especially with Laura's little male.

Cresteds are my favorite geckos after fat tails of course.

and leos are right up there too. Man, herps are so addictive, I think I need to find a R.A.P (Reptiles Anonymous Program)

Or a H.A.P.P.Y. (Herps Anonymous-Personally Program Yourself) O.k, so that last one is bad, just made it up on the spot, I guess I'm feeling yappy at the moment. lol
