Alright alright, heres the answer you were waiting for. all of you did GREAT i was hoping you would all guess hognose snake... but it was a melanistic garter. it acted almost exactly like a hog though... thanks for posting! i will try to give out a prize next time...

Lol, thats crazy. But yea, I see now that it's a garter's head, just flattened out. He must have been rather p***ed at you. Nice find.
