Re: Pink!
Nice snake! I have a normal BCI that has tons of orange, pinks, and purples in him. His tail was the most vibrant in his litter which is why I chose him. Some of the info I gathered on pastel type boa's were just selectively bred from the nicest looking normals over years and have had their coloring emphasised. Anyone heard of a "het" pastel?

Re: Pink!
Weee. I really need to be more active on this forum. I should make some friends, lol.
Anyways, thanks! I chose her because I saw pink, lots of it, and she didn't seem to have a whole lot of 'baby grey' on her.. Little Hikari's tail is turning a burnt orange color, I kind of prefer it over the red.
I actually got the binder clip idea from a member on ssnakess, I don't know who it was that had the clips on their tub, but I know they had/have red tailed green rat snakes..

Re: Pink!
I prefer the orange/brown tails as well. You've got a beautiful boa. Love the pinks! I've got a pretty unique looking boa too with some crazy pinks and "hypo shaped" saddles. I am still looking for a good explanation to them lol

Re: Pink!
Thanks, everyone. I'll be feeding her(and the rest of the reptiles) tomorrow, and I'll take some pictures. Her colors were much less bright the last time I handled her, she may be going into shed again.
