Oh man! Diamonds are by far my favorite Carpet. I love their pattern. I heard they are a cooler weather snake so what are their husbandry requirements like?

Re: a couple pictures of my Diamond "moneypenny"
Thank you very much everyone the first time i seen a diamond was just a few years ago and i knew i had to have one, and that was the bottom line, Mark Isbell, if thats his last name, hope im not wrong :P Gonesnakee on this forum, posted his clutch and i had already ordered them months before he was willing to let them leave his custody
As for cold snakes, yes theirs is some difference, alot to be honest, more than a short post would really cover, I do as the breeder i got her and her boyfriend from, keeps them the same as any other carpet and she is doing great. Shaun on here keep his beautifull diamonds proper like, lowers temps in winter, does the fast, keeps it lower temps than mid 80s like mine, i read alot of stuff on either way to keep diamonds and could not figure out how i would choose to raise mine, i posted here and i took a general concensuse basically on what choice it would be. not much help i know but thats what i was thinking, the more i read the less idea i had on whats best at this point in time for captive diamonds.

Re: a couple pictures of my Diamond "moneypenny"
Tom Weidner, the granddaddy of all snake keepers here in the Des Moines metro and owner of Habitat Systems, has an extensive collection of Diamonds. Checking his facility out was the first time I ever saw a Diamond and was drooling myself. I am hesitant to get one or a pair because of the possibility of the lower heat requirements would force me to have their setup different than my other snakes who are more tropical.
