Where do you buy your Calcium with no D3?
Hi All,
I've been trying to find some calcium without D3, but haven't come across anywhere in my searches, so I was wondering where you guys find yours? Anywhere online?
Thanks,

I believe I bought mine at PCPC, and I learned from a bad experience that the manufacture is a very important part of that. Trust the big name companies ex. Rep-Cal. Most reptile stores stock Rep-Cal products and at most reptile shows as well.

I've only ever been able to find Rep-Cals' calcium with D3 or their herptivite.
I used to use dragon shack farms' calcium, but found it gave me lots of egg problems.
Cheers,

I've never used anything but rep-cal . I believe it is the best on the market.
It comes in a small, round, plastic container. It is about 1.5" high and mebe 3" in diameter. The label on it is pink.

Check the pictures (and info) on the Rep-cal Supplements webpage so you'll know what to look for. The pink label does have D3 in it, you want the green label.
I do use Rep-cal but my #1 brand of mineral supplements is Miner-all - either I or O. The "I" does have D3, the "O" doesn't have any. I use Miner-all "I" 90% of the time, just dilute it a bit with Rep-cal without D3. Back in the days of my chams going outside, I used "O" for them, they made all the D3 they needed while outside. I also add "O" to the various gutload mixes.
I can't say I"m shocked and surprised about your results from that other brand though. I just read the info on their site and the labels, decided that I'm not using it if they can't even get the info straight.

Amanda: The manufacturer's calcium that you had egg problems with, is the one that I did also. I use Miner-All I as well and I have had no problems with either Rep-Cal or Sticky Tongue Farms products.

I use Miner-All I (so with D3) as well. That's been my main supplement since I discovered that my Dragon Shack calcium was not good for my guys. This past year has been a learning curve for me!
I can seem to find the Rep-Cal with D3 everywhere I go, the Green label I've only been able to find from places that won't ship to Canada! It's thoroughly frustrating!
I checked out that HerpSupplies website, but it would cost me $30CAD to get it to my door. I must be able to get it cheaper than that for a little container!

Go to PCPC website, and on the supplies/vitamins it is listed for $9.99. He stocks it as well as ships it. It is Rep-cal Calcium (green label).

I would think they'd sell it at The Reptile Store in downtown Hamilton. The few times I've been there I didn't check for it, but I did see a big selection of supplements, just can't recall which ones they had. If you can wait a month, you can get the right stuff at the November PCPC show. For the cost of shipping you could get into the show and have a fun day while you're at it.

The Reptile Store only has Rep-Cal with D3, I've checked.
I probably will wait. I don't have anyone laying right now, so they should be ok with just the Miner-All for another month and a bit.
