hey i got a blood python its about 3 or 4 months old and yesterday he was all foggy and his eyes were covered but today hes not but i cant find the skin is he still in the middle of the shed ? i tried to feed him today cuz i usually feed on wednesday but he was in full shed mode, if anyone can help id appreciate it thanks
the eyes go clear again before the shed. he should be done within a few days. i would suggest against feeding in shed. some animals will eat in shed, but there is a slight risk of regurge and its just not worth it. a day or two after he sheds, he will be hungry again.
ok cool i didnt realize that the eyes cleared then they finished shedding i never payed close enough attention lol. so ill just wait til next wed and keep my cycle going thanks guys

I've never had a snake regurge after eating while in shed. There is also a slight risk of regurge when not in shed. I have some that still eat just fine.
Yeah as said before the eyes go clear before the snake actually sheds.
