Any more specific clues for a egg laying date?

My girl has already did a "30" day shed on Feb 18 (the guy that had her last year said she didn't lay until a month and a half after) and been lying belly up to heat almost 40%-50% of the time. Is there any more clues that might give away when she's getting ready to lay, maybe some behaviours that pythons display more closely to the time?

Any help or experiences would be appreciated,

Ryan

Sounds like she's ready anyday now, almost overdue. Does she have an appropriate nesting box to lay in? If so & all conditions are right & she isn't being stressed out by anything she should lay anyday. What is "She" BTW as knowing that may help others give tips? Shes done her prelay shed & is doing the belly up thing that pretty much tells the tale, should only be a matter of time. Mark

She is my albino burmese python. She has an egg laying "spot" peat and fine vermiculite mix. The box I put in she already distroyed. Should I put another in?, being that I put her enclosure downstairs in my bedroom (and no it doesnt leave alot of space in my room) where there is the least traffic - she only really see's me twice a day when I check her, as I hung a blanket over the glass.

Thanks for the advise - this is my first time breeding on my own, last year I used my male with this girl but she wasn't mine at the time.
