am having a bit of a problem with my male carpets first shed! he has got a lot off himself but has left a lot from half way down his stomach and about 4 inches on the very end!
any suggestions on how to help him out?
ive bathed him and put some shed ease in the water but that hasnt really helped much.
what should a correct shed be like i.e. comes off in sections or in one long strip?
A proper shed should come off all in one piece. Soak him again, in warmish water. You could put him in a rubbermaid with a half inch of water in it, over night. Or do the same thing with just a damp rag. I would check your husbandry. Sounds like humidity in his normal enclosure is on the low side.
