How do cresties do with meal worms and/or super worms. I don't want to feed them anything that could harm them so i was wondering how do they deal with meal worms.
All my cresties eat mealies and appear to love them, but I don't feed too many because they're not the most beneficial food item. In my experience most of my adult cresteds seem intimidated by superworms and won't eat 'em.

None of my Rhacs touch mealworms, and only the Leachianus will eat superworms. Even tiny supers don't excite the other Rhacs no matter how much I beg, plead and cry
My cresties eat both mealworms and superworms, I have the hold the superworms for them but otherwise they seem to like them. They don't really mind waxworms or lobster roaches either. In fact I had one that ate a small child the other day.
Any cresteds I've raised up myself (hatched myself or purchased at a young age) love mealworms, superworms, roaches, crickets, and just about anything that wiggles and looks like a bug. My pickiest critters were fed mostly crickets (which I hate) and it's been a royal pain trying to get them onto anything else - even babyfood or the CGD.
