That is just a mutation. NOT for breeding and NOT cool. Its like when a human gets a extra head. The other may move but it is still dead.

When did I say that you shouldnt breed it? I just think that the person who is selling it is not a good person. A animal with that kind of deformaty should be pampered by the person who bred it.

One thing the piece of *** is selling this beardie. Many people know what I mean when I say I don't like ***. Like there beardie contest and iguana mass porduction and all that crap. Thankfully no one is buying the 10 thousand dollar beardie. But If I had the moeny I would. Just to study and see if I should put it down or keep him healthy and away from ***...

That thing is just insane! It looks really good though...I mean looks pretty healthy. I wonder if both heads eat? I don't think it's worth 10,000 but I definitly think it deserves to be kept properly and given special attention.
Its just crazy cute though eh?

This is know as Dicephalism. Although mostly common in snakes it has affected beardies and slider turtles. And also matt b your comment:That is just a mutation. NOT for breeding and NOT cool. Its like when a human gets a extra head. The other may move but it is still dead.
Matt
Is not tottaly true. Although most of cases of dicephalism turn out to be still births some do still survive. With both heads functioning. The probleme is that it may die with a lack of food, because one head might attack the other while trying to feed, making it difficult to eat. Anouther probleme is that sometimes one head is dominant and controls movement of the body, but in some cases both heads try and coontrol body functions. Making it very difficult to move around. So both heads are alive but one just might be more dominant then the other. In some cases these mutations are also long lived. Having a full healthy life.
And just to let you know matt you did say (NOT for breeding and NOT cool) So maybe you should pay more attention to what you post.
There is a great article on Dicephalism in the febuary 2004 edition of Reptiles. Where I first read about this mutation. I sudgest you guys check it out it is quite interesting.
wade shaw
P.s it is deffinatly worth the money he is seling for it if it is healthy. These mutations are a some what common in snakes and even less in beardies. Its like having an albino but a hell of a lot more rare. Find anouther one and then yes maybe its not worth that much. But i dont really think you will, very slim chance anyways.

I have a baby 2 headed beardie in my freezer, only lived a few minutes.. Hehe, it's more appropriate to sell a dead one IMO if someone wants to LOOK at it.... I'am glad this one died fast, didnt look very comfortable..
Anyone wanna buy my frozen 2 header?

Frozen? What I would sudgest is going by maybe a high school or university and see if maybe you can get some fermeldahide (spelling) preserve that baby forever. Thats pretty cool though, did you witness it hatching? Must have been a freakish sight if you have never heard of dicephalism before.lol.
Why is it more appropriate to sell a dead one?
I would be interseted in buying ifyou could preserve it properly, and are able to ship.
