4 days seems like a while. Not sure what might have happened there. The only things I can think of are temps being too hot or too cold suddenly (lack of proper thermal gradient). Feeding too large a prey item, and/or feeding too often (the stomach acids need time to build back up).
Too much stress or a 'bad' or incompletely thawed prey item could probably cause it as well.
