First of all, you must realize that Okeetee is a name for a "place" in S.Carolina where some really great snakes were found in the past.The best ones had really wide black borders around the brick red saddles on a brilliant orange ground color.Belly scales pure white and jet black.Not every snake found in the region looked like this. In fact some are quite drab and dull comparably.True "locality" Okeetees may look anything like either.The ones most often bred as Okeetee are usually like the former description.-Very Nice! I've noticed on some of mine the belly (black) scales lightening and becoming infused with orange- mostly towards the tail. As for being able to DO something about it, well I don't think there's much we can do.Please post a pic of yours. We want to see! I'll bet he's a killer.
