Hi,

a good book if you can find it is, Poison Arrow Frogs, Their natural History and captive care, By Ralf Heselahaus. its a little old and outdated, with many of the names having been revised, but most of the info is sound. Lots of good websites are easily accessed by a google search, I have a general care sheet on mine, other good ones can be found at saurian.net, and pumilio.com. Another great site to check out for some fantastic pics of some rare species is tropical-experience.nl. There is no one set way for keeping dart frogs, or setting up their enclosure, and you will look at 10 sights, and probably find 20 different ways to do it. The three main things to keep in mind are 1) make sure you have constant access to small food, either a reliable supplier of pinheads, or by culturing, or ordering fruit flies, or both. 2) high humidity, atleast 80% or higher, and finally make sure that your encloser is escape proof, cause if there is a way out they will find it.

good starter frogs, are Phyllobates terribillis, Dendrobates azureus, and Dendrobates auratus.

I started out with auratus several years ago. hope this was of some help. Good luck, and let me know if i can ever be of any help.
