Was there anything at the show besides Leopard Geckos and Bearded Dragons?

Not really... a couple carpets (one MONSTER male and a pretty big female IJ). A couple GTPs but all from the same clutch (cept one). A pair of albino boas, a few normals boas, a few rainbow boas, a million corns. Some various "grab bag" lizards.
Not a really good show in my opinion. At least you could walk around this time tho!

That's not too bad Zo. Albino boas would be pretty cool. 5 years ago they would NOT be at a show in Canada. I can't believe you didn't splurge on the biggie female IJ! Just think, a few hundred dollars now would translate into a few thousand next spring!!
I think the later shows will have more boids and snakes in general as they should be hatching now. It only gets better as the summer goes on!

Jeff- yeah, she was really big but not gorgeous. And I don't have an extra cage. And I don't have 300$. lol. I'm very happy with my 3 What I do need, though, is a male boa for my girl.

Good on you Zo!! Resist the urge to get crappy-looking Carpets. Work with ncie ones (like the ones you own) and you will only produce nice ones that are worth the $250-$350 we can charge. There are far too many drab Carpets out there (IJ and JCP's). Breeders should always choose to work with the nicest-looking ones. Excellent will power!
Paul, did you get any GTP's at the show??

Thanks Jeff! But don't congradulate me... I'd probably have gotten her had I had the cash. Maybe not to breed her, but she had this funny big head that I liked it. And she looked like she eating rats.
But now mine are!

Luckily I went to see the people! I was hoping to see more snakes. But the PCPC table had the ones I wanted to see anyways. So I was content spending most of the expo outside listenning to everyone talk and meeting everyone! lol

Ewwwww beardies!
The shows ARE overun with beardies and leopards, then again what shows aren't?.... ....but there is still a decent enough mixup of animals. There were quite a few carpets, gtp's, assorted boas, and a few tables of mainly colubrids. Mike Perry still had the gorgeous orange rainbow from last show... almost bought her then, just dreamed of it this time. She would make smashing babies with my orange male. Oh well what can ya do

Is mister Jeff thinking of a table next show??
More carpets are a good thing.
