Love Retics
I've been lucky enough to find 3 retics in the wild. One was 12 to 14 feet. I managed to get some pretty good underwater video of this smaller one. He was a more manageable 6 to 7 feet.

Love the patterns! Gorgeous creatures, but they make a hell of a mess with the feces don't they?

Re: Love Retics
I've never kept one so don't know. But just based on their size I'm guessing that would be the case!

Depends on the individual it seems. Some adults like to paint with their feces, some just make a giant pile you gotta shovel out.
As an owner of one (albeit a very young one), it's the pee you have to worry more about. They pee multiple times a week, and make a decent-sized pool of it, too. My retic alone goes through an entire paper towel roll every couple of weeks, and I only give her 6-9 squares at a time (2-3 squares and 3 sheets of those). As long as they don't smear their poo, they don't make much of a mess of that.

Re: Love Retics
Wow, 16 foot. That's crazy.
Here's another video that I took that has a retic in it. Found in a tree around midnight.

Re: Love Retics
And this video has the largest one I've seen. I say 10 to 12 foot in the video, but comparing sizes of the surroundings afterward, I estimate it to be at least 14 feet. While I've seen large pythons in pet stores, seeing something like this in the wild is unreal.
It's a long video, and youtube deleted some of the music I used. Anyways, skip to 28 mins to see the retic.
