year old boa??

What should the average size of an appox year old normal Boa constrictor, length and width be?

i would say about 4 feet
i Never weigh my snakes so i don't know

That depends on ssp some will be longer and thicker then others.

It depends on many things, really. How often fed, what prey item, how many items in one feeding, size at birth.... not all boas are born the same size. Some are 12" and some are 24". There is no way to say what size a year old boa 'should' be.

HI,
I have BCI and BCC the Bcc grow slow the frist year and grow fast the second, BCI tend to grow faster the first year and slow down a little.
doug
the BCc will be giants at a much later age arond maybe 3-4 years. and stil growing.
