Re: Whats wrong with my python?
Idk, it might be irritated from rubbing (I think scale rot is usually black/dark brown patchy areas usually starting on the underside)is she constantly rubbing or trying to get out of her enclosure? Burn is possible I think if you have a overhead heat source but would also most likely start on the body if undertank heater is used I beleive.

Re: Whats wrong with my python?
I agree with DDW that it is some type of friction rub injury, you have to tweak the enclosure and find out where it's coming from. Definitely not scale rot, it is a form of a burn though. Check the enclosure carefully and cover any exposed bulbs with a protective outer covering. She is rubbing up against something and that's what's causing this.

I actually got it right? Hey, Im getting better.
Anyway, yah, that can get pretty bad. I've seen a corn snake that had its head all swollen up and pretty much unrecognizable.(I think that was after a long time and the one who posted it wasn't the owner so not much info was avaliable) I hope you are able to find what she is rubbing on soon. Good luck.

Re: Whats wrong with my python?
She might be rubbing on her lid a lot, or touching something hot(if you have a heat lamp, check the temperature of the screen around it)
If she's been rubbing on her lid a lot, she might be looking for food or need more space. How big is the snake and the enclosure she's in? How often and how much do you feed her? Maybe we can rule out those possibilities, or else remedy them.
