Just please be careful not to get too far over your heads too quickly.
It's all too easy when we fall in love with reptiles, been there myself.
Heck I still sometimes think about toning it down a notch in my collection.

Yes I understand that. We are actually considering building shelves in the garage for our vivs. We enjoy it though and its always fun to share with friends and families. Corns are easy to care for as well. We agreed we are at our limit at the moment. This is something we both love and my husband actually wants to get a degree in herpatology. We both take about one class a semester right now while our kids are young. We are perpetual students and we both love science! But yes we are done buying reptiles for now.

Must be some magical kingsnakes! At expos they go for around $30! And the most normal rosy boa is usually $100

This is a herp farm, not an expo or show. Snakes are usually cheaper at shows because they come directly from the breeders. Also you have to look at the region. Different states will have different prices. Some things are just more or less expensive in different states.

Oh, I get that some states have different prices. I was just surprised because of the prices I'm used to seeing. You said "Snakes are usually cheaper at shows because they come directly from the breeders." Are the people at the herp farm not the direct breeders of the animals you bought?

Have you ever seen the show swamp brothers? They breed some of their stuff but not everything. I don't really know the ins and outs of their business practices but they told me a lot of their corns come from local breeders.

Re: Our snakes! And pictures from our trip to Glades Herp Farm!
Here is a link from our local paper where they did an article on the farm. Maybe that will give you a little more info alessia. I know they do breed some big expensive stuff, but a lot of the smaller snakes they get at trades, shows, and buy from local breeders. They also go out and do rescues and stuff.
