I agree, they can get into almost anywhere. I recently aquired a pueblan milksnake...3 days after i got him, he escaped...I turned the basment up side down..many many times, layed a few pre killed's out with no luck at all.
Two weeks later my gf go's to dump the bag on the vacume...and poof! she screams and jumps around, the snake was there in the bag all along.Luckly alive, and that she didnt vacume before she dumped the bag!. If you have cats..they are very helpful! They had been poking at the vacume for awhile..I was just too ignorant to look.
I personally think the sticky mouse trap is a stupid idea, but..what do I know.
When you look for them, you'll never find them...stop looking..they will turn up.
