Mealworms should be fed scarcely to babies. They have a high level of chitin and are hard for young chameleons to digest. Also pinkies should be fed as a treat only.

also if you want to get them to eat mealies or silk worms make sure they start young, really young or else they wont eat it when they grow up

the only thing i notice when it comes to silks is that on the first bit they are kinda suprised and dont always take it but when u continue feeding they love them... As for mealies i do notice that some chams love them more then others...

My panthers were around 4 years old before I got the first silkworms which they ate like candy. Same with roaches - they were around 2 before they saw the first ones. I've never had trouble introducing new foods to 'older' panthers nor jacksons. Maybe the pickiness is more the exception than the rule.

well i forgot to mention each cham has ts own personality lol....so im not suprsed there are dfferent opinons....my panther, havs never hissed at my, but when i brought a slk worm hme to see if he would eat it...bad idea lol, he tried to biite me, started hissng or i just left the silk worm on te stick, he wouldnt even walk near it lol, it would take the lng way down my panters weird lol
