The pattern is cool but the snake is a little thin. Try using fenbendazole. If it has internal parasites (worms) might not gain weight. Also, doesn't look as a red tailed Boa, more like common colombian.

I would agree with you, this is probably a common, it was sold as a red tail, frankly I really don't really care one way or the other as this one will not get bred. Regarding worms, I did plan on a trip to the vet in the next couple of weeks and I will inquiry at that time. meantime, he is eating very well and body tone is very good. I will let you know what the vet says
