Re: Couple boas in the sun!

When people say "central american" boa, are they a specific group of boa or are they talking about all central american boas such as nicaraguans, panamanian, costa rican, el salvador, belize...etc? It confuses me since boas from different regions of central america can look very different.

Re: Couple boas in the sun!

Thanks guys! Ya, Greg Heckbert in PEI coined the name Orange Pastel with one of his litters this year. I was lucky enough to get in on the project last year with getting this little guy.

It's unknown as of yet whether the Orange Pastel is Recessive, Dominant, Co Dominant, or if it just works like the typical Pastel and is a line bred trait. My money is on it being Recessive because it stems from two VERY Normal looking DH Anery Leopard boas.

When I say Central American, I am referring to the 50% Sonoran blood in these two boas. Sonoran boas of course being classified as a Central American boa (Still BCI).
