i used to do a bit of hunting when i was younger (we always ate what we got).it was that exact sound that put me off it for life.a wounded deer imo screams like a human child would sound.as said it was enough to put me off for life...!!

also as has been said it is just mother nature doing her thing.the wolves have to eat.
