Gray ratsnake on the Bicentennial trail, Ashland City TN
We manage to fit in a bit of field herping this morning. After an hour of trudging through muddy water and poison ivy off-trail along the river's edge without finding a single cottonmouth, we climbed back up to the trail and found this 5' long beauty! It did give me a bit of a snagging when I picked it up!
