Re: Interesting article

interesting read, shame they stuck to fairly vague areas of discussion, and didnt include any biochemistry/neurotransmitter info, which is the basis of all emotions. an animal doesnt need to be able to explain ''feelings'' in complex and abstract ways, in order to feel many of the same emotions we do.

The only significant difference I can think of, relates to the way we reproduce, our offspring needs significant support for many years, and so we need to form long term bonds in order for this to be successful....of course our big brains mean that we come up with all sorts of abstract concepts to describe this biological process...most of which are based on idealistic nonsense instilled by the likes of Disney and Jane Austin
