I don't think anyone said it was impossible, just that it's probably not the best idea unless the OP is
really into chameleons. Plus, I'm pretty sure screen enclosures can't work for chameleons, as they require moderate to high humidity levels, which can't really be maintained unless the area around the enclosure has high humidity too.
