Talking Rodney's Vivarium Overhaul!

So I spent several hours today completely changing Rodney's (my Crested Gecko) vivarium. The plants weren't doing well because the soil was all wrong and drainage was very poor. It was also beginning to cause some mold growth so it was time for an overhaul.

It went from this:

Close-up of the substrate. I have gravel & charcoal in the bottom layer, then a piece of that plastic grid/screen stuff they put on fluorescent ceiling fixtures. On top of that is a sheet of fibreglass screen. Then a soil mixture of peat/sphagnum/sand/compost, on top of that is that expanding moss you buy at pet stores.

What do y'all think?
