So i tried feeding my JCP a week ago. It was another rat fuzzy and I put it in her feed tank and she had no interest in it after about 30 minutes. I tried dangling it and nothing. She got to the point where I pissed her off and she struck at it to say leave me alone, but didn't bite and hold.
I figured they were a few months old being in the freezer so I got 10 rat pups from Layne Labs. Defrosted one tonight in hot water and tried dangling it....nothing
It is now just sitting on the bottom of the tank. while she sits on a branch above looking for a way out.
I'm at a loss. This is now almost 3 weeks in a row she hasn't eaten. She looks good, active at night and everything. Temps in 80s.
Should I be concerned or just try again soon?
How long should I leave her in the tank with the rat before I give up tonight? It's dead so no worries her being attacked
Size wise it is about what she was eating with rat fuzzys.
I wish she would just eat....
