snake regurgitated food
I'd been feeding nothing but frozen thawed pinkies to my corns, but the other day the person I get pinks from was out but for a couple, and I fed my larger amel two live fuzzies.
I thought all was well till I went to get him out a week later for feeding again, and when I opened the 'rainbox' where he hangs out I found he'd puked them up. The first one was slime, but the second one was slime on the front but mouse on the end, so I wonder if there is any problem I should be aware of.
I ask this cause I was told that when they puke they need to build their bacteria up.
Now for the wierdness, my amel ate fine, two more fuzzies, and he did it quick, however, my snowcorn, who shares the same tank, didn't eat, and he ate the pinkies at the last feed, so he isn't the one that puked. Seems odd that the one that ate less, though didn't puke, wasn't hungry at all, but the other one was. Not so odd that the amel was hungry after puking the meal, but that if he dropped his bacteria would he still want to eat?
The second week feed with my snowcorn was a new food though, a african soft furred rat pinky, and when he didn't take it I put in a mouse fuzzy, in case it was the change, but he still didn't eat.
Any Ideas?
