nearcal Member Join Date: Feb-2005 Posts: 1	tortoise eating own feces I have a african tortoise (baby? It's about 4 inches long). He's eating well and seems active but there is never any feces in his cage. He has blackish green stains on his hind end and around his mouth. I am assuming he's eating his own feces though I've never seen him do it. Does anyone know what this means or what to do about it?
