A couple of questions

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows why my Red tail Boa doesnt hiss or show any threats of biting me when I handle her, but yet when out of her enclosure she spends a lot of time in the S shape, is this a strike pose or is this just normal, she does this everytime she is handled. She is 8 feet long and 8 years old and I was given the snake off a friend of a friend a week ago, he has had the snake since hatchling.

Also would I still be able to breed her at this age? she has never been bred before.
