Hello everyone!
I'm fairly new to this whole snake thing, just a few months ago I decided a snake was the right pet for me. Originally I was planning on getting a baby Ball Python, just waiting for my local reptile shop to get one that I fall in love with. While I was waiting, I fell in love with a very spunky baby Albino Western Hognose. Unsure of the gender, I named it Dingus (although I'm pretty sure shes a girl at this point) I have to say, I couldn't be any happier with her shes a sweetheart when she wants to be and a pee flinging hiss noodle when she wants to be left alone. So much personality from such a little worm. I'm a very proud father, and I'm always trying to improve her life anyway I can. Hence why I'm on here to hopefully get some great knowledge. Little Dingus is such a part of the family that my sister even knitted and mailed her a sweater for Christmas. Don't get me wrong, that noodle is my daughter, but I don't handle her all too often. If shes above ground poking her head around the enclosure door I'll pick her up, but the only time I ever pull her out of burrows is if she hasn't been up and its time to clean the enclosure (these are the times shes a pee flinging hiss noodle). I'm even getting tempted to get another snake, I've been thinking of a tree python. Although I know they have many more and different needs then a hoggie, so it will be a long time of research and preparation before that would ever come about.
Well, that's pretty much it for my introductions. All that's left is some sweet baby snake pictures.
