Thought i would do an update!
He has calmed down some, seems as though he is getting used to his new home here. He doesnt strike at the glass anymore.(where as when i first got him, he did constantly). Still holding him with gloves, pretty jumpy but bites are becoming less frequent. Also could be from feeding him larger prey as reccommended here! I absolutly fell in love with Carpets!

After handling he didnt want to go back in the tank! so he crawled around the top for a while.
Im really enjoying having a carpet!
