So, they benefit hugely from space. Keeping them in a small box, basically a permanent hide, is not a proper way of keeping any snake.. Eventually you'd like at least 4x2x2 with hides, clutter, branches, good lighting setup (P. regius can see UV, and will seek it out), and so on.
