Merlin Last Year and This year
I acquired Merlin along with his sister/clutchmate Vanessa early last year when they were still the typical bitey babies but didnt stay that way for long. Through frequent handling I was able to tame both these snakes down to puppy dog status. The first pic was taken last year when he was chillin on my arm. This year in spring I took him outside for a couple more pics and the last pic was taken just a few weeks ago as he was chillin on my shoulders. As you can see, hes grown quite a bit and continues to do so. currently, he's about 5' long and 3 lbs., not bad for a 2 1/2 year old.

Yeah he has grown and continues to do so. Hes so fun to pull out of his tub and play with. All my macks are puppy dog tame which is one of several reasons I enjoy them so much. Ty for the compliment.

Re: Merlin Last Year and This year
Most of them get to be around 6'-7', however they can get up to 10' long. I know of someone here in town with one over 10' so it is possible. Vanessa is pushing 5' and Merlin is well over that and they are only '09s so I wouldnt be surprised if both of them got over 8' long in a few years.
