Our snakes! And pictures from our trip to Glades Herp Farm!
So we went back out to Glades Herp Farm today so that we could find out the gender of our snakes. We found out we have a Male ball python and a Male Okeetee corn, which is great since the Corns name is Salazar and the BP's name is Kaa. We also came home with two new corns! A female albino and another male Okeetee. They come from good stock and we hope to breed them in a few years.
For those of you that don't know, Glades Herp farm is where they film the show "Swamp Brothers" on discover channel. You can view clips on the discover channel website, but you can also check out their website at gherp.com
Here are pics of our snakes, two pics of the male ball python, one pic of the male mexican milk, and two pics of the male okeetee corn. and I will be adding more pics from our trip to the farm.

Thanks, it was a lot of fun, I saw a smaller breed of boa I was interested in, Rosy something or other. And I really wanted one of their bearded dragons. My husband was interested in the king snakes but they were a bit more expensive.

Cali Kingsnakes aren't expensive... Definitely not any more expensive than a rosy boa.

They called it an amazon rock turtle, I think its the same thing? Or maybe I got the name wrong, there was amazon this and African that. Lol, I could have just mixed up the names.

Re: Our snakes! And pictures from our trip to Glades Herp Farm!
I checked with my husband, it is a matamata turtle. We saw some other sort of "rock" turtles, but that one in the picture is a matamata.
