Not a talked about creature here...

BUT... I`ve been trying to breed this particular species of snails for aaaaages. Years!! Without even the tiniest smidgen of luck. But I`ve finally cracked it! lol
They`re called Pleurodonte Marginella, the little blighters aren`t exectly easy to breed but my efforts are well worth it. These little guys fetch £18 EACH
Although I`ll do them at half that.
Here`s one of my little babies, just starting to get the nice stripe these guys have....

They have incredibly beautiful flesh. It`s a really nice grey colour and looks like wet rubber. They also have veeeery long black eye stalks which considerably add to thier beauty. For a snail lover like me anyway
These are some of the parents (snails are heamaphroditic) Beautiful little things aren`t they! They`re about one inch across at adult and can quite happily live for ten or twelve years believe it or not......

Anyway, yeah.. I did it ! AawOOhoo!

Congrats Feebs! Whats 18 pounds in USD? I'll have to google that. I had some snails in my aquarium once. Damned things ate my plants. Then when I sold them back to the petstore, I found out later that I had babies in my tank....
